About Us

Our pendants are made up of silver chain & Corian discs. Corian is a mineral based material more usually associated with architecture & is part of an emerging eco-led world within solid surface materials. The soft textured design is lasered in to the Corian creating a sensitive contrast to the strong disc form. The starting point for each of our lasered designs is the geometric form - the Flower of Life. When any physical object is broken down to it’s smallest component, this sacred geometric form can be found.

Sophie Thomas is a jewellery designer from London & completed both her Masters in Design & BA in Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins. She has created catwalk looks for Tom Ford, interned in Madrid with designer Anton Heunis & worked on research projects for the V&A Museum. Her previous collections have been shown in London at the prestigious Aram Gallery, Zaha Hadid Gallery and Mint Galleries.

Dubbed a rising jewellery star by British Vogue in 2010, her sensitive ability to structure designs around the idea of contrast has been hailed 'aesthetically sophisticated' by acclaimed fashion writer Colin McDowell.

‘My work is about contrast. You have to see the flaw to understand the beauty. You have to see the negative to understand the positive.’

The beads used on our pendants are from Oman – the country where Sophie spent her childhood. As a youngster, it would be fair to use the word obsessively here, she obsessively collected beads from the local souq. They are finally being put to good use!
